Modern management has given an extremely important place to managerial communication. It considers communication as a vital component of the managerial system of all organizations. A successful manager is the one that can communicate with the persons that he or she is leading, and the performance of an organization can be conditioned by the manner in which managers communicate. The identification of employees with the organizational goals, their channeling of efforts for the common objectives, the ability of the manager to assess the results of his or her decisions can be accomplished only by using the resources of managerial communication. A laconic, delayed or confused managerial communic…

Speak their Language : Designing Effective Messages to Improve Employees’ Information Security Decision Making
2018
Employee disinterest in information security remains one of the greatest impediments to effective information security management programs. How can organizations enhance the persuasiveness of the information security messages used to warn employees of threats and encourage employees to take specific actions to improve their security? We use fear appeal theory and the elaboration likelihood model to argue that security messages presented using more personally relevant language are more likely to induce employees to engage in the recommended protective security behaviors. Du verbe instrumental dans la musique subsaharienne
2021
Sub-Saharan music results from the spoken language/instrumental language relation, directed by an oral culture. In this culture, these languages transmit ? beyond their singularities ? messages thanks to either a coded signal known by the linguistic community or previously defined among a group of individuals, or is used as a true meta-language copied on the articulated and usual language used every day. Here, an instrumental musical speech can then imitate and reproduce the tonal inflexions of the language to make its matter understandable. This fact is the natural result of a strong interaction and interrelation between the spoken language and the music as well as the conception that the …

These messages have as their central dimension idea of the self-entrepreneur, which implies a deepening in the logic of activation, while blurring the wage relations. The penetration of these human capital messages can be seen in the discourses of young university students who have been forced to leave the country during the crisis. In the present text we approach the discourses of young women who came out as au pairs. The characteristics of this figure place it in a space halfway …
